 |
 |
Penikese Island School is a family-sized, non-institutional secondary school (9 students max) that emphasizes personal choice, improved relationship skills, and lasting internal change over external control and behavioral conformity. Penikese provides formal academic schooling to promote improved literacy skills, vocational education to provide improved work ethic and practical job skills, comprehensive clinical services to address the root causes of destructive social behavior, and aftercare services to program graduates and their families to support students in transition and/or crisis, reducing relapse into old behavior. |
