PROJECT ADOPTION
  
Project Adopt-A-Pony Funding Amount $500
  
Project Defined The horses and ponies that are partners in the therapeutic and recreational activities of our programs have been donated to us, and thus come with their own set of health, behavior, and relationship issues. To insure their physical and emotional well-being, we ask that individuals, civic groups, and businesses assist in underwriting their expenses. Monthly ($75), quarterly($225), semi-annual($400) and annual ($750)adoptions are available. Adoptors receive a certificate of adoption, a photo of their adopted equine, and a subscription to our quarterly newsletter. These donations will be acknowledged as tax-deductible. "Help our 'angels' lend wings to the special youngsters who love them."
  
Project Needs Feed and supplement costs, veterinary and alternative medical care, and farriery are basic needs for each and every therapy horse in our program, many of whom are elderly. THWM's annual costs for this exceed $25000 for the 35+ equines in our care. Money will be used to directly offset the costs listed above of the particular animal adopted.
